Peyton and Jacob’s wedding journey has been such a joy to be part of, and this particular evening felt extra special. They had officially eloped at the courthouse in Columbia but wanted to preserve the beauty of the moment in a more intentional way. So, Peyton had her hair and makeup done and slipped into her wedding dress! We spent a quiet, golden evening at The Little Chapel—one of the most beautiful spots for romantic wedding portraits.

As a wedding photographer, one of my favorite things is being able to slow down and create space for couples to really take in this season of life. That’s exactly what we did. We explored every little corner of The Little Chapel. We soaking up the warm light, the peaceful grounds, and the feeling that time had slowed down just for them.
What made this even more meaningful for me was the full-circle nature of it. I captured Peyton and Jacob’s engagement photos a year ago, and I was lucky enough to document their elopement too. Being invited into multiple milestones in a couple’s story is the greatest honor.
If you’re newly married or recently eloped and wondering if you “missed your chance” for beautiful portraits, I promise—it’s never too late. You deserve photos that reflect how it all felt! Whether it’s a formal wedding day or a peaceful session like this one. And if you’re dreaming of romantic wedding portraits in North Carolina, I’d love to help bring that vision to life.
